Recording began for the album in Partrishow Wales in
early Spring just as all the May blossom was starting to appear on the
hawthorn trees. We were surrounded by nature up in the hills and if
you listen carefully the musical contributions made by the local wildlife
are just audible.
In Twites Corner Suffolk, in the heat of high summer that brought with
it a plague of European hoverflies we added pianos, square and upright,
guitars and organ in the cool of the local saxon church.
Trumpet, backing vocals, vocals, tweaking, mixing, remixing, mastering
etc etc etc.... all took place in the grime and smoke of Harlesden London.
......and now it's being set free.
